– More than 2/3 of smartphone owners carry out a search as a result of traditional media.
– 79% use their smartphone for commercial purposes.
– 78% located retailers, compared prices or search store inventories.
– 69% used their smartphone to find product information.
– 52% used their smartphone to contact a retailer.
– 28% redeemed virtual discount coupons.
– 74% made a purchase based on what they found using their smartphone.
– 76% used their smartphone, then bought at a brick and mortar store.
– 45% remembered online banners and graphical ads.
"In terms of advertising, smartphone users are not only noticing mobile ads, they are receptive to them: 82% notice ads on their smartphones, half of which take action."
