Marketing to women doesn't mean flowers in the lobby and girlie paint.
To appeal to women, the changes need to come in your product, in your service and in the way your business operates.
Look at your business from her eyes. Invite female friends to secret shop your business. Find your existing female customers and ask them what you can do better. Ask the wives and girlfriends of your male customers.
It's not easy. It's not simple. It's going to take time and effort, but selling to women also means more business for local retailers:
• 85% of buying decisions are made by women.
• 51.5% of high-paying management/professional positions are held by women.
